BUENA DISTANCE SOCIAL CLUB enables purchase of iPads for nursing homes!

Already over 1000 club members: the fundraising campaign for the T-shirt collection is a complete success.

Our BUENA DISTANCE SOCIAL CLUB has been around since mid-March. We launched this club with the drive to help people who have been particularly hard hit by the Corona crisis. Of course, nothing works for us without T-shirts and so we designed the matching collection almost overnight and printed our fine basic shirts made of 100% organic cotton with the various BUENA DISTANCE motifs in record speed. The result a few weeks later is impressive: more than 1000 shirts sold and a donation total of €6,414! This is an incredible number for us as a small label and we are endlessly grateful for all the supporters of this campaign.

We distribute the donation amount between two institutions: the largest share (previously €4,500) goes to the Grenzlos association in Aschaffenburg. The initiative, launched by citizens, has been taking care of homeless and poor people for many years. People in need can buy groceries at the Grenzlos department store for a symbolic value of €1 and have the opportunity to participate in cultural life in the city free of charge through the association. With the remaining donations we support the AWO Residenz nursing home in Gehrden. As a first step, we were able to finance the purchase of three iPads. The devices make everyday work easier for the carers and give residents the opportunity to communicate with their relatives via video.
