Made in Portugal

For us, transparency and education are the most important cornerstones for greater sustainability in the textile industry. It is therefore important to us that our customers understand and know how their clothes are made. We regularly visit our producers in Portugal and maintain a very friendly relationship with them. Our collections are created in the small town of Barcelos in the north of Portugal. Short distances, wonderful people, fair working conditions and just a few minutes from the beach.

THE WEAVING MILL

After our organic cotton , grown in India and Turkey, has been spun into yarn, it is processed into high-quality fabrics . Yarn becomes fabric.

THE DYEING WORKS

It doesn't work without color. But the truth is that dyeing fabric is very time-consuming and involves a lot of water consumption . Our dyeing works try to counteract this and let the water circulate by collecting it in a large water tank and returning it to the cycle after treatment. In addition , no harmful chemicals are used to dye our fabrics.

THE SEWING SHOP

Our sewing shop is located just a few kilometers from the dyeing works. The dyed fabric rolls are cut into individual pieces here and then sewn into the finished garments by hand in many small steps .

CECILIA, GRACINDA, ROSA, CONCEICAO, ADRIANA, NUNO, PAULO...

...and many more of our friends in Portugal stand behind your garment. They are happy when you feel comfortable in it, treat it with care and wear it for as long as possible. That is what makes it truly sustainable.
